Here at Ark Veterinary Clinics our Long Eaton branch has been accredited as a Silver Rabbit Friendly Practice.
In order to be awarded with rabbit friendly status our practice had to meet certain criteria set out by the Rabbit Welfare Association & Fund (RWAF). This results in either a Silver or Gold status as well as inclusion on the RWAF Rabbit Friendly Vet List.
Our Rabbit Advocate says: this means we have various rabbit friendly areas of the practice including our rabbit friendly accommodation which is spacious with lots of hiding places for rabbits to feel safe Owners can also request to have their rabbit placed in our rabbit area behind reception whilst waiting for appointments to help keep rabbits as stress-free as possible.
We have at least one “Rabbit Friendly Advocate” who can tell you about all things rabbit, including information about vaccinations and neutering and who can answer any questions you may have.
