Cindy joined Ark Veterinary Clinics as practice secretary in October 1997 and became practice manager in 2004. Outside of work her interests include spending time with her Australian fiancé during their many commutes back and forth, swimming, walking, cooking, local history, gardening and socialising with friends. She is also currently busy planning her wedding for August 2018. Cindy acquired a stray kitten from the practice in 2015, whom she named Cilla and also has a mixture of koi carp and very large goldfish!
Maxine joined Ark Veterinary Clinics as a receptionist in November 2011. She lives locally and her interests include walking, cycling and eating out. Maxine has a Dalmatian called Breeze and a tabby cat called Tabatha.
Sarah joined Ark as a receptionist in June 2017 and would one day love to train as a veterinary nurse. She currently has a BTEC in animal management and enjoys meeting and greeting the pets that come into the practice. Sarah has a pug called Loki, two guinea pigs and a hamster. In her spare time she enjoys running, rock music, travelling and raising money for charity.
Jemma joined Ark Veterinary Clinics in August 2013 as a receptionist after previously working in retail and works at both our Long Eaton and Chilwell surgeries. She also assists the vets and nurses when needed and can often be found in the kennel area keeping an eye on our patients. Jemma recently completed a course with the Blue Cross in Pet Bereavement Support. At home, she has a naughty tortie called Cookie and will soon be getting a Ragdoll cat. Her interests include going to music festivals and spending weekends away with her partner Sam. She is also a qualified hairdresser and beauty therapist.
Jo joined our team in June 2017 as a receptionist after re-locating from Essex. She has a background in hotel reception and has combined her love of animals with her job. Outside of work, Jo’s biggest passion is horses. She also loves regular weekends away in the UK and holidays abroad somewhere hot.
