Puppy and dog training

Puppy classes are held at our Long Eaton Surgery on Saturday, 12.30pm – 1.45pm.

Dog training classes are held at our Long Eaton Surgery on Saturday, 2.15pm – 3.30pm.

Puppy classes

Enrol for four classes (one class a week) for £28.

Puppies are welcome from one week after their second vaccination up to six months old. Puppy parties are a fun and educational way for you and your dog to train. Topics include:

  • Socialisation with other dogs and owners.
  • Being a responsible dog owner and what the dog warden expects from you.
  • Handling and examining your dog.
  • Basic commands, eg sit, down, leave it etc and how to train your dog to understand them.
  • The dog’s position in the family.
  • General healthcare – parasite control, diet etc.

The classes also get your dog used to coming to the vets and makes future visits less stressful.

Dog training classes – KT’s K9 Academy

Enrol on an eight week course (one a week) for only £50.

We only use positive reward based training to unsure that you enjoy yourself as much as your dog does.

Dog training is a fun and educational way for you and your dog to learn the following things:

  • Sit.
  • Down.
  • Stand.
  • Walking to heel.
  • Recall.
  • Wait/stay.
  • Meet and greet.
  • And much more.
